Planning conditions
  1. This consent is granted for a period of five years from the date of this consent. REASON To comply with the requirements of Regulation 16 (c) of the Town and Country Planning (Control of Advertisements) (England) Regulations 2007 (or any Regulations revoking and/or re-enacting these Regulations with or without modification).
  2. The development hereby approved shall be implemented only in accordance with the following plans and drawings hereby approved by the Local Planning Authority: (a) Site Location Plan @ 1:1250, Recd on 30/12/2025 (b) Drwg No. 1660-107 REV B – EXISTING FRONT ELEVATION (SOUTH), Recd on 30/12/2025 (c) Drwg No. 1660-208 REV M - PROPOSED FRONT ELEVATION (SOUTH), Recd on 03/03/2026. REASON To ensure that the site is developed in accordance with the submitted application and to ensure that the proposed development does not prejudice the amenity of the area and to comply with the Policies in the Development Plan.
  3. No advertisement is to be displayed without the permission of the owner of the site or any other person with an interest in the site entitled to grant permission. No advertisement shall be sited or displayed so as to endanger persons using any highway, railway, waterway, dock, harbour or aerodrome (civil or military); obscure, or hinder the ready interpretation of, any traffic sign, railway signal or aid to navigation by water or air; or hinder the operation of any device used for the purpose of security or surveillance or for measuring the speed of any vehicle. Any advertisement displayed, and any site used for the display of advertisements, shall be maintained in a condition that does not impair the visual amenity of the site. Any structure or hoarding erected or used principally for the purpose of displaying advertisements shall be maintained in a condition that does not endanger the public. Where an advertisement is required under these Regulations to be removed, the site shall be left in a condition that does not endanger the public or impair visual amenity. REASON To comply with the requirements of Schedule 2 of the Town and Country Planning (Control of Advertisements) (England) Regulations 2007 (or any Regulations revoking and/or re-enacting these regulations with or without modification).
  4. For a term of five years from the date of this notice, subject to the general conditions as imposed by the above- mentioned Regulations, all advertisements displayed and any land used for the display of advertisements, shall be maintained in a clean and tidy condition to the satisfaction of the Local Planning Authority. REASON In the interest of the visual amenity of the locality.
  5. The level of luminance shall not exceed 300 candelas per sq. metre. REASON To ensure the intensity of illumination has a limited impact on the visual amenity of the area and the residential amenity of local residents in accordance with Policy EN11 of The Adopted Local Plan for Slough 2004.
  6. The advertisements hereby permitted shall be illuminated only during the following hours: Monday to Thursday 10.00 to 01.00 Fridays and Saturdays 10.00 to 02.00 Sundays and Bank Holidays 10.00 to 01.00 REASON: To protect the amenities of other occupiers within the vicinity of the site in accordance with Core Policy 8 of the Slough Local Development Framework, Core Strategy 2006 – 2026, Development Plan Document, December 2008.
  7. It is the view of the Local Planning Authority that the approved advertisements do improve the economic, social and environmental conditions of the area for the reasons given in this notice and it is in accordance with the National Planning Policy Framework.
