The applicant has failed to demonstrate that the proposed change of use will result in each of the proposed units being able to receive acceptable levels of natural light. No daylight/sunlight assessment is submitted with the notification and the window locations in the building are closely related to adjacent buildings and the applicant has therefore failed to demonstrate that the provision of adequate natural light is achieved across the development rendering the proposal contrary to saved policy EN1 of the slough Local Plan 2004 and Core Policy 8 of the Core Strategy 2006-2026.

No noise assessment is submitted with the notification whihc would consider the impact of noise from commercial premises in this town centre location. The applicant has therefore failed to demonstrate that the provision of adequate natural light is achieved across the development rendering the proposal contrary to saved policy EN1 of the slough Local Plan 2004 and Core Policy 8 of the Core Strategy 2006-2026.
