Planning conditions
  1. The proposed first floor side and rear extension, by virtue of its positioning, height, width, depth, massing, bulk and proximity to the flank boundary, would breach the established building line along Borderside and adversely affect the character of the site and streetscene at this prominant corner location. The proposals are therefore contrary to Saved Policies EN1 and H15 of the Slough Local Plan (2004), Core Policy 8 of the Core Strategy (2008), DP3, Paragraphs 5.16-5.18 in relation to corner sites and EX31 of the Residential Extensions Guidelines SPD (2010), and contrary to Paragraphs 131 and 135 of the National Planning Policy Framework (2024).
  2. It is the view of the Local Planning Authority that the proposed development does not improve the economic, social and environmental conditions of the area for the reasons given in this notice and it is not in accordance with the National Planning Policy Framework.
  3. Drawings considered: - 2550/PL/01, dated 20/03/2026, received on 14/04/2026 - 2550/PL/02, dated 20/03/2026, received on 14/04/2026 - 2550/PL/03, dated 20/03/2026, received on 14/04/2026 - 2550/PL/04, dated 20/03/2026, received on 14/04/2026 - 2550/PL/05, dated 20/03/2026, received on 14/04/2026 - 2550/PL/06A, dated 20/03/2026, received on 05/05/2026
