Planning conditions
  1. The proposed plant equipment represents a poorly designed and positioned installation that does not seek to integrate in sensitive manner into the application property or the local street-scene. It’s exposed positioning and incorporation of unjustified freestanding overhead ducting would lead to it being viewed as a utilitarian and incongruous addition that would be to the detriment of rather than contribute to the character and appearance of the local built environment. The proposal therefore fails to comply with Policies EN1 and EN2 of the Slough Local Plan (Saved Policies), as well as Core Policy 8 of the Slough Core Strategy.
  2. It is the view of the Local Planning Authority that the proposed development does not improve the economic, social and environmental conditions of the area for the reasons given in this notice and it is not in accordance with the National Planning Policy Framework.
