Application overview
Demolition of the existing lift shaft and associated infill structures. Construction of a new external staircase, lift shaft, two balconies, new entrance and new window openings. Replacement of existing roof with new rooflights. New windows and doors within existing openings. Installation of new external gate and courtyard fencing. Internal alterations with new cafe, two new apartments, nine artist residency rooms and a new gallery, making and event space. Minor alterations to internal layout to improve building accessibility and escape strategy.
