Application overview
Reduce height of 1 no. Horse Chestnut Tree by up to approx. 3m and reduce spread by up to approx. 2m - The tree has very heavy limbs, notably one growing towards the houses, and Chestnuts have comparitively weak timber. Additionally this tree has some decay in its main stem. The tree is also over-bearing in this modest garden. I believe that this modest reduction will alleviate any strain on over-extended/over-heavy limbs and reduce the risk of (what would be) catastrophic failure, and improve the enjoyability of the garden.
