T2 - Spruce - Remove. Reason: Over mature specimen displaying poor form. Defective top section of the tree previously removed in 2025 and historical removal of branches from the neighbouring property side has resulted in an unbalanced and irregular crown formation. The radial spread of the tree (approx 5 to 6 metres) consists of extended end weighted branches where foliage is confined to the outer branch extremities. Several end weighted major limbs have failed and fallen into the driveway of the adjoining property recently. Therefore, given the trees age, condition and location the tree has a very limited suitable useful life expectancy. On completion of works 1 new tree must be planted in a suitbale location near to the stump of the Spruce staked and tied as appropriate planted at 2-3 metres height and 10/12cm circumference. If the replacement tree (or any other tree planted in replacement of it) is removed, uprooted, destroyed or dies, another tree of the same size and species must be planted at the same place, or in accordance with any variation for which the local planning authority give their written consent. Please inform the tree officer when replacement tree has been planted so we can update our records accordingly. Species suggestions; Liquidamber styraciflua Quercus robur fastigiata (koster) Fagus sylvatica Dawyck Crataegus monogyna stricta Prunus pandora Sorbus aucuparia Cardinal Royal
