Planning conditions
  1. G1 - 2no. Larch - Remove to ground level. Reason - Early mature Larch to the north west is approximately 8 metres in height. Poor form. Tree previously topped and leaning towards property which is in immediate close proximity. Insignificant as a visual amenity feature within the context of the local conservation area. Early mature Larch to the south east and is 18 metres in height, approximately 40cm stem diameter. Poor form. Historic removal of companion shelter trees to the immediate south east has resulted in a slender, unbalanced, irregular crown form with minimal crown coverage to the south east. Distinct kink in the upper stem and sporadic areas of moderate/major dead wood. Tree is prominently situated but given the form, condition and relative close proximity to property and the highway it is not considered expedient in the interests of amenity to serve a Tree Preservation Order on the trees in this instance and as such both trees may be removed. Recommend consideration is given to replacement tree planting to maintain continuity of tree cover within Brandon conservation area. Recommended species; - Quercus robur fastigiata - Pinus sylvestris - Acer campestre elegant - Prunus umineko
