Planning conditions
  1. G3- Group of 4 Beech (TPO ref:273) - Remove. Reason: Group of 4 very closely spaced mature trees. Drawn growth habits. Tree to west has large area of dysfunction/decay to east of lower stem. Small stem cracks. Weak compression fork. Dieback. Meripilus fungal infection to the base of the trees. Tree to east has distinct canopy bias/lean to north east. Invasive degradation of roots puts structural integrity of trees in to doubt. 2 other Beech trees in close proximity have previously fallen into the garden. On completion of works 4 new trees (Liquidamber styraciflua) must be planted, staked and tied as appropriate, planted at 2-3 metres height and 8/10cm circumference. 3 in the same position as G3. 1 on lawn area near to property entrance gate. If the replacement trees (or any other tree planted in replacement of them) are removed, uprooted, destroyed or die, another tree of the same size and species must be planted at the same place, or in accordance with any variation for which the local planning authority give their written consent. Please inform the tree officer when replacement trees have been planted so we can update our records accordingly.
