T1 Lime - Reduction of height by 4 metres and radial spread by 1 metre to balance and shape (existing height approx 16 metres - radial crown spread 3 to 4 metres) Reason: To improve form. Tree historically pollard at 5 metres. Tree suppressed by adjacent Leyland Cypress with drawn growth habit. T2 Lime - Reduction of height by 2 metres and radial spread by 0.5 -1m to balance and shape (existing height approx 12 metres - radial crown spread 3 to 4 metres. Reason: Tree partially suppressed by adjacent Leyland Cypress. T3 Leyland cypress - Remove. Reason: Tree upwards and over of 20 metres in height. Outgrown location. Very dense canopy having negative/overbearing impact upon usage of garden given species characteristics. Also having negative impact on adjacent deciduous trees. On completion of felling works 1 new tree (recommended species Prunus umineko or Malus evereste) must be planted, staked and tied as appropriate at standard size (2 to 3 metre height) adjacent to where the Leyland Cypress is located to maintain continuity of tree cover. If the replacement tree (or any other tree planted in replacement of it) is removed, uprooted, destroyed or dies, another tree of the same size and species must be planted at the same place, or in accordance with any variation for which the local planning authority give their written consent. Please inform the tree officer when the replacement tree has been planted so we can update our records accordingly.
