Reduce the crown of a cherry tree located in the rear garden of the property (marked in the sketch as T4). This has not been done for many years and therefore we consulted a local arbor. There are two large dead branches and the advice from the arbor was that a 50% crown reduction would be best for the tree and for safety given the risk of falling branches to ours and adjoining properties. Pictures highlighting the dead branches have been added to this application. It can be seen that one of the dead branches hangs over number 23 garden. We are very fond of the tree and believe these works to be in its best interest
