Marine related works include:1) removal of existing concrete river wall (landward side of Thames Path) and replacement with a new sheet pile river wall (river side of the Thames Path) at the top of existing revetment structure;2) Construction of a new sheet pile wall on the river side of the existing retaining wall structure west of the Southern Warehouse;3) Removal of sections of existing revetment to compensate for the loss in river flood volume due to the new proposed sheet pile river wall;4) Creation of an intertidal planting terrace;5) Local repair works to the existing jetty and provision of a new boathouse for the Gloriana Rowbarge. There would be five new marine piles to be installed in the river to support the guide rails for the launch mechanism of the boat and to facilitate the maneouvring of the rowbarge.
