Planning conditions
  1. Further to your notification received in respect of the above proposal (Applicant Reference: 26/002923/PDNOT), the Local Planning Authority makes the following comments: The Local Planning Authority are in agreement that the proposed works detailed in the letter from Openreach dated 23/09/2026 (ref: I2MTG5T_Q3) and the Location Plan - EMWSFRD_PV9021, are considered to be Permitted Development by virtue of Part 16 of Schedule 2 of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 (as amended). As such, they do not require the express benefit of planning permission. The Council would request that all works are undertaken with due regard to highway safety and the free flow of traffic and pedestrians. Any temporary traffic management measures required during the installation works should be agreed with the Highway Authority where necessary. Please note that this is informal advice. If you require a formal determination on your proposal you will need to submit an application for a Certificate of Lawfulness under Section 192 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. Application forms are available from our website at www.peterborough.gov.uk or upon request.
