Discharge of condition C16a (fire hydrants) of outline planning permission 19/00272/OUT C16 (a) Notwithstanding the submitted information no development above slab level shall take place within each Development Phase/sub-phase, until provision has been made for fire hydrants for that Development Phase/sub-phase in accordance with a scheme to be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. The scheme shall thereafter be implemented in accordance with the approved details. (b) Prior to the first occupation of any dwelling/building to be served by the scheme written confirmation shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority that the scheme has been implemented in full and is certified as being ready for use. Reason: In order to ensure that sufficient resources are available for firefighting in accordance with Policies LP16 and LP17 of the Peterborough Local Plan (2019). Approved documents/details: - Fire Hydrant Design dwg no. W19-3588-004 Assessment: The submitted information has been provided to discharge part (a) of Condition 16. The Water and Planning Manager at Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service has been consulted on this application and has confirmed that statutory consultation has been undertaken with Anglian Water. They have also confirmed that details of the quantity, serial numbers and locations of the fire hydrants required to serve the development have been provided. As such, the submitted information is considered sufficient to satisfy the requirements of Condition 16(a). The second section of the condition requires written confirmation be submitted to and approved by the Local Planning Authority prior to the first occupation of any dwelling/building to be served by the scheme. Condition 16 (b) requires a separate discharge of condition application in order to fully discharge condition 16. Conclusion: Subject to satisfactory implementation on site, condition 16 is hereby partially discharged.
