Condition 29 – Vehicle Charging Points Notwithstanding the approved site plan details of the location and specification of the electric vehicle charging points shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Every car parking space shall be constructed with ducting to allow the future installation of additional electric vehicle charging points. Vehicle charging points shall be installed and be available for use prior to the first occupation of the building they serve and shall thereafter remain available in working order for the lifetime of the development. Reason: In order to encourage the use of zero emission vehicles and in accordance with Policy LP13 of the Peterborough Local Plan (2019) Plans & documents submitted in support of the discharge of C29: - Cover Letter (dated 24th April 2026) - Electric Vehicle Charger Unit JC000603-CP010 - Site Plan (Drawing Number: 1106 Rev C06) Assessment: The Highway Officer has confirmed the submitted details are acceptable to discharge the condition. The Site Plan (1106 Rev. C06a) shows two EV charging spaces for each of Units 1, 2 and 3, plus two additional spaces near the Unit 4 entrance on Hampton Avenue. The specification provided in the vehicle charging unit description (JC000603, dated 11 December 2025) meets the condition requirements, and ROLEC BASICCHARGE units are proposed. Accordingly, the case officer considers the condition satisfied. Conclusion: The details submitted relating to Condition 29 are deemed acceptable to the Local Planning Authority and comply with the submission requirements of the discharge of the condition. Condition 29 is hereby discharged.
