Planning conditions
  1. The proposal would result in detrimental harm to the special architectural and historic interest and significance of the listed building through the unjustified loss of historic fabric, erosion of its legibility, and inappropriate design approach, and is therefore contrary to Section 66 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990, Policies LP16 and LP19 of the Peterborough Local Plan (2019), and Sections 12 and 16 of the National Planning Policy Framework (2024)(2025 as amended), as well as Historic England guidance.
  2. The proposal is unacceptable having been assessed in light of all material considerations, including weighing against relevant policies of the development plan and for the specific reasons given below.
