Planning conditions
  1. Condition 8 – Car park management plan No part of the development hereby permitted shall be first occupied until a car park management plan has been submitted to and agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Thereafter the agreed car park management plan shall be implemented in accordance with the approved details. Reason: To manage parking demand to reduce the possibility of the proposed development leading to on street parking problems locally in the interests of highway safety and in accordance with Policy LP13 of the Peterborough Local Plan (2019) and the National Planning Policy Framework (2024). Plans & documents submitted in support of the discharge of C8: - Car Park Management Plan, dated March 2026. Assessment: The submitted Car Park Management Plan fully accords with the requirements set out during the assessment of planning application 2501502FUL, confirming that a minimum 15 minute interval between classes will be maintained, at least one staff member will be present outside during drop off and collection times to actively manage vehicle movements, and staff will direct vehicles to designated waiting or turning areas to minimise congestion. The plan also confirms that clear communication on expected behaviours and drop off and collection procedures will be issued to all parents and guardians prior to first use and annually thereafter, alongside the provision of sustainable travel information packs promoting cycling, public transport and car sharing. Regular monitoring during peak periods will be undertaken, with records kept informing future adjustments, and no deliveries will take place during class times. These measures collectively satisfy the requirements of Condition C8 and are acceptable to the Local Highway Authority. Therefore, subject to satisfactory implementation on site, the requirements of C8 have been met. Conclusion: The details submitted relating to Condition 8 are deemed acceptable to the Local Planning Authority and comply with the submission requirements of the discharge of the condition. Condition 8 is hereby discharged.
