Condition 5 (Parking management) DISCHARGED Prior to first occupation of the Care Home, a Parking Management Plan for the site shall be submitted and approved in writing by the Local Planning authority. This plan must detail how the on-site parking and turning will be managed to ensure that vehicles park only in their allocated bays, and how school taxi pick up/drop off will be managed to ensure vehicles turn within the site and enter the highway in a forward gear. This plan is an essential mitigation measure to support the car parking provided on site and to prevent parking on the nearby highways. The development shall thereafter be occupied/operated in accordance with the approved parking management plan or a plan as subsequently modified and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To manage parking and turning for the site and prevent overspill parking on the public highways, in the interests of highway safety, in accordance with Policy LP13 of the Peterborough Local Plan (2019) and the provisions of the NPPF 2024. Approved Documents: Parking management plan Site Plan -PL01D Vehicle Plan -V01 Assessment: This condition was added to ensure that the site would be able to deliver sufficient provision of parking on site, including how on site parking will be managed, and how pick up/drop off would be managed to ensure that vehicles leave the site in a forward gear, To manage parking and turning for the site and prevent overspill parking on the public highways, in the interests of highway safety. The LHA have raised no objection to the discharge of the condition as the approved documents adequately show the parking layout and how the parking will be managed. Conclusion: As such, the Condition 5 of permission 25/00997/FUL is hereby discharged. subject to implementation in accordance with the approved details.
