Decision & conditions
DecisionPlanning conditions
- Plans considered: - Location Block and Site Plans F052 - DR-A01 Rev A - Risk Assessment (local Area Risk Assessment) - Parking Statement
- The proposal would fail to provide adequate facilities within the curtilage of the site for the parking and turning of vehicles to serve the operational requirements of the proposed use and the safe, convenient and sustainable access to, from and within the site by all user groups and would therefore be contrary to LP13 of the Peterborough Local Plan (2019) and Section 9 of the National Planning Policy Framework (2024)(2025 as amended).
- Insufficient information has been provided to demonstrate an adequate access for the proposed use and appropriate vehicle to pedestrian and vehicle to vehicle visibility splays. As such, the manoeuvring of vehicles likely to be generated by the proposed development would have an adverse effect on the safety of users of the adjoining public highway, contrary to Policy LP13 of the Peterborough Local Plan (2019) and provision within the National Planning Policy Framework (2024)(2025 as amended).
