- The proposed front extension, by virtue of its excessive forward projection, scale and siting, would result in a visually prominent addition that would fail to remain subordinate to the host dwelling and would adversely affect its proportions and appearance. The extension would project significantly beyond the established front building line and would appear as an incongruous feature within the street scene, failing to integrate satisfactorily with the character and appearance of the surrounding area. The proposal is therefore contrary to criterion 1 of Policy GN.1 (General Development Policy) and criteria 1 and 2 of Policy GN.2 (Sustainable Design) of the Pembrokeshire Local Development Plan (adopted 28 February 2013).
