This application has been screened in accordance with Natural Resources Wales’ interim advice for planning applications within the river Special Areas of Conservation (SACs) catchments (issued on 20th January 2021 and July 2025). It is considered that this development is unlikely to increase phosphate and nitrate inputs as it falls within the following criterion in the interim advice: Any development that reduces the frequency, or volume of irregular discharges within a SAC catchment. Note that any such development must not be linked to an increase in livestock numbers or the capacity for an increase in livestock numbers through provision of additional infrastructure

The soft landscaping comprising native hedgerow species, as detailed in the Green Infrastructure Statement, dated 7 April 2026 and set out in drawing no. 2239 02a Block Plan, shall be carried out in the first planting and seeding seasons following the completion of the development, and any trees or plants which within a period of 5 years from the completion of the development die, are removed or become seriously damaged or diseased shall be replaced in the next planting season with others of similar size and species. Reason: To protect the character and appearance of the area to accord with Policies GN.1 and GN.2 of the Local Development Plan for Pembrokeshire (adopted 28 February 2013).
The biodiversity enhancement measures in the form of one bird box, as illustrated on drawing No. 2239 02a, shall be installed prior to substantial completion of the nutrient store hereby permitted or first use of the nutrient store whichever is sooner and retained thereafter for as long as the development exists. Reason: To secure biodiversity enhancement, in accordance with policies GN.1 and GN.37 of the Local Development Plan for Pembrokeshire (adopted 28 February 2013).
