Planning conditions
- Condition 7 - Bat Survey Condition 7 requires the submission and approval of an updated protected species survey for bats which accords with guidance set out in ‘Bat Surveys for Professional Ecologists; Good Practice Guidelines 4th Edition’ published by the Bat Conservation Trust 2023 as advised by Natural Resources Wales (NRW) prior to the demolition of the existing Lower School buildings. The application submission has provided the following details to address the requirements of this condition: - Site Location Plan - 26CB04-ATK-XX-AXX-D-A-900021-P1 (Dated as received 24/02/2026); and - Protected species Update Survey: Bats, breeding birds report by Landsker Ecology, reference PortfieldSEN_UpdateBats_LE25.08 20/02/2026 (Dated as received 24/02/2026). The protected species survey has been updated to accord with the most up to date species survey for bats. Consultation with the Council’s Ecologist advises that the submitted information is acceptable, serving to protect and enhance biodiversity in accordance with Policies GN.1 and GN.37 of the adopted Pembrokeshire Local Development Plan (2013). This condition is partially discharged. Only upon the development having been carried out in accordance with the recommendations of the updated survey shall condition 7 be fully satisfied.
