Decision & conditions

Refused
Planning conditions
  1. The proposed access would result in the loss of a dense section of mixed species native hedgerow which is of a good structural diversity and high ecological value. The application fails to provide appropriate compensation for the loss of the hedegbank and as such fails to demonstrate that it would protect and enhance biodiversity in accordance with the requirements of Policy GN.37 (Protection and Enhancemnet of Biodiversity) of the Local Development Plan for Pembrokeshire (adopted 28 February 2013) and the Environment (Wales) Act 2016.
  2. This decision relates only to the plans identified below: Drawing 2025-01 Rev B Existing & Proposed Plans & Section A-A Green Infrastructure Statement
  3. The proposed access would result in the loss of hedgebank which would result in an urbanising effect of the site and the residential caravan within its rural setting. This would have a significant detrimental visual impact on the landscape and would be contrary to the requirements of Policies SP 1 (Sustainable Development), SP 16 (The Countryside) and criteria 1 and 2 of GN.1 (General Development Policy) of the Local Development Plan for Pembrokeshire (adopted 28 February 2013).
