  2. The buiding subject to this application is a converted former agricultural outbuilding. The proposed alterations and extensions are considered to be of poor design, would not appear as a subservient additions to the existing dwelling and would domesticate the traditonal apperance of the building. As such, the overall detailing, bulk and form of the proposed development would not be compatible with the character and proportions of the existing dwelling and the character and arrangement of the dwellings within the immediate surrounding area. It is considered the development conflicts with Criteria 1 and 2 of Policy GN.1 (General Development Policy) and Criteria 1 and 2 of Policy GN.2 (Sustainable Design) of the Local Development Plan for Pembrokeshire (adopted February 2013).
