Decision & conditions

Refused
Planning conditions
  1. The proposed development would involve the loss of trees and natural habitat and as a result would not be compatible with its location. It is considered that the loss of the trees and natural habitat would adversely affect the landscape character of the area and would fail to respect or protect the natural environment. The application also fails to identify the green infrastructure baseline of the site and follow a stepwise approach to provide sufficient and accurate mitigation and compensation measures. As such the development fails to comply with policies SP 1 (Sustainable Development), criteria 3 and 4 of GN.1 (General Development Policy), GN.9 (Extensions to Employment Sites) and policy GN.37 (Protection and Enhancement of Biodiversity) of the Local Development Plan for Pembrokeshire (adopted 28 February 2013), Pembrokeshire County Council Supplementary Planning Guidance: Biodiversity, May 2021 and Planning Policy Wales, Edition 12 and the Environment Wales Act 2016.
