- The proposed composite cladding would appear incongruous with the character of dwellings in the immediate locality. The stark appearance of the cladding would distract the eye in views of the open landscape towards the coast, in addition to it not being considered a sustainable material. On this basis the proposal conflicts with Policies 8 (Special Qualities), 14 (Conservation and enhancement of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park) and 29 (Sustainable Design) and the principles of the SPG on Sustainable Development.
