TPO79 - Silver Birch - Felling of tree.Reasons: 1. The tree is situated very close to the house and has led to ongoing issues with squirrels and other wildlife accessing the roof and, more recently, entering the property. Its dense canopy also significantly reduces natural daylight to both the house and garden.2. The tree's roots have displaced the adjacent pathway and paving slabs, creating a trip hazard and making the area more difficult to maintain. Continued root growth is likely to cause further damage over time.3. TPO79 is located only a few metres from two larger protected trees, TPO78 and TPO80, whose crowns and branches already overlap with it. Removing TPO79 would reduce competition for space, light, water and nutrients, while retaining the overall tree cover and amenity value of the area.See case for more details.

I request permission to remove a large tree located I the front garden of my property at 25 Clifton Hall Drive, Nottingham, NG11 8NJ, which lies within a designated conservation area. The tree is a mature lime tree situated at the front of the property. I have attached 2 photos of the tree and also a site plan which shows the location of the tree in the front garden of the property.

Beech tree - Fell and remove.Tree shown as a red circle on the location plan. Tree sits very close to 35 Gervase Gardens. Roots of the tree are causing structural damage to a property and the danger is also due to the fact that its sits on the edge of a parking area / access to a garage block. The roots are very exposed, there is a dwarf wall close to the tree which is lifting plus a public footpath that is showing signs of cracking the path is used by residents both children and adult some elderly.Planning gave permission in 2025 to reduce the branches by 1.5mtr prior to this work the issue of the root formation had already been raised with Tree Services. The arborist who carried out the work reported that the root formation was of concern to him and considered the tree a danger. He said in adverse weather conditions it has the potential to roll forward. I asked for a written report but unfortunately the poor man had a stroke and was unable to continue working.
