Statutory Requirements The advertisements hereby approved must adhere to the statutory requirements detailed below: a) Any advertisement displayed and any site used for the display of advertisements shall be retained in a clean and tidy condition which does not impair visual amenity, cause danger, nuisance or hazard to the public to the reasonable satisfaction of the Local Planning Authority; b) Any structure or hoarding erected or used principally for the purpose of displaying advertisements shall be maintained in a safe condition that does not endanger the public; c) Where an advertisement is required under these Regulations to be removed, the site shall be left in a safe condition that does not cause danger, nuisance or hazard to the public or impair visual amenity to the reasonable satisfaction of the Local Planning Authority; d) No advertisement shall be displayed without the permission of the owner of the site or any other person with an interest in the site entitled to grant permission; and, e) No advertisement shall be sited or displayed so as to obscure or hinder the ready interpretation of any road traffic sign, railway signal or aid to navigation by water or air, or so as otherwise to render hazardous the use of any highway, railway, waterway or aerodrome (civil or military). Nor shall any advertisement hinder the operation of any device used for the purpose of security or surveillance or for measuring the speed of any vehicle. Reason: To comply with Regulation 14(1) and Schedule 2 of the Town and Country Planning (Control of Advertisement)(England) Regulations 2007 and section 12 of the NPPF.
Time Limit - Advertisements The permission hereby granted for display of the proposed advertisement(s) shall expire five years from the date of this notice. Reason: As is required by part 3 (para 16(2)c) of the Town & Country Planning (Control of Advertisements) Regulations 2007.
Approved Plans - Retrospective The development hereby approved is partly retrospective regarding fascia and lettering on front, side and rear of the building (shown as signs 01,02,03 on Site Plan) and partly proposed regarding the pylon signage (shown as sign 04 on Site Plan), and has been considered based on the details on site and on the plans and specifications detailed below: a) Location Plan, Received 27th May 2026 b) Site Plan, Received 27th May 2026 c) Proposed and Existing Rear and Side Elevations, Received 27th May 2026 d) Proposed and Existing Front and Side Elevations, Received 27th May 2026 e) Proposed Visuals, Received 27th May 2026 f) BYD Logo and Service Signage Details, Received 27th May 2026 g) Pylon and City Name Signage Details, Received 27th May 2026 This approval only relates to the details on the above plans and specifications, it does not relate to any other works. Reason: For the avoidance of doubt and to ensure that the development is carried out as approved.
Restriction of Illumination Hours The advertisements herby approved shall only be illuminated during the opening hours of the premises to which the advertisement relates. Reason: To protect the visual and residential amenities of the area and to reduce light pollution having regard for Policies DC1, CS4 and CS5 of the Local Plan and section 12 of the NPPF.
Removal After Permission Expires The advertisements hereby granted consent shall be removed from site after the expiry of five years from the date of this consent. Following the removal of the advertisements the site shall be left in a safe condition that does not cause danger, nuisance or hazard to the public or impair visual amenity to the reasonable satisfaction of the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To protect the visual and residential amenities of the area having regard for Policies DC1, CS4 and CS5 of the Local Plan and section 12 of the NPPF.
