Planning conditions
  1. Out of Keeping Design and Scale In the opinion of the Local Planning Authority, the extension by virtue of its size, scale and design, is considered to be out of keeping with the host property and immediate surroundings, being contrary to the design requirements of the Local Development Plan Policies DC1 (b) (General Development), CS5 (c&f) (Design), the Middlesbrough Design Guide and the emerging Publication Local Plan policies CR2 (e) (General Development Principles) and CR3 (a, c and k) (Sustainable and High Quality Design), as it would result in an extension to the front of the property which would be of an excessive scale and would thereby have an overbearing and incongruous appearance which fails to respect the character and appearance of the host property and wider street scene.
