Planning conditions
  1. Reason for Refusal In the opinion of the Local Planning Authority, the replacement of the existing timber framed windows with UPVC and a timber door with composite would introduce modern materials which are considered not to be historically representative of the character and appearance of the Nunthorpe and Poole Conservation area and this non-designated heritage asset (former Grey Towers Stables). The proposal would therefore result in a detrimental impact on the character and appearance of these heritage assets by way of incorporating erroneous and non-traditional materials. The replacement materials are therefore contrary to Policies CS4 and CS5 of the 2008 Core Strategy and emerging policies CR1, CR2, CR3, HI2 and HI3 of the 2025 Publication Local Plan. It is also contrary to paragraphs 134, 210, 212, 213, 213 and 216 of the National Planning Policy Framework.
