- The previous (unauthorised) rear extension was formed by spanning the boundary walls with rafters and erecting a felt roof on the rafters. The landowners chose to remove the roof, in its entirety, and start again. This time, making the it slightly larger. The proposed works are not lawful as they do not constitute permitted development and as such will require full planning approval. The rear extension is an entirely new development the subject of an enforcement notice issued 16 July 2025.
