Planning conditions
  1. Impact on the character and appearance of the area In the opinion of the Local Planning Authority, the proposed two storey extension to the side would harmfully disrupt the rhythm and spacing between the semi-detached properties in this part of the street which would be detrimental to the street scene and character and appearance of the area contrary Local Development Plan Policies DC1 (General Development), CS5 (Design), and the Middlesbrough Design Guide.
  2. Adverse impact on highways In the opinion of the Local Planning Authority, the proposed development is considered to be in conflict with Local Development Plan Policy DC1 (General Development) and the Tees Valley Design Guide as it would result in undue pressure for on street parking due to the increase in bedrooms, which would in turn adversely affect the free flow of traffic and pedestrian safety.
