Planning conditions
  1. Reason for Refusal In the opinion of the Local Planning Authority, the proposed parking arrangements and general site design is considered to represent unacceptable development owing to the likely significant adverse impacts on the local highway network. The proposed intensification of the building through the place of worship use is likely to increase the demand for parking. Without necessary built measures, levels of unmanaged parking at the site are expected to continue and exacerbate. Such parking will obstruct and interfere with the safe use of the highway and detrimental to highway safety. This is contrary to Section 9 of the NPPF and Core Strategy Policies DC1(d), CS4(g) and CS18(a).
