Planning conditions
  1. Temporary Consent The permission hereby granted is valid only until 1st September 2027, after which date the land upon which the modular buildings and its associated works are positioned shall cease and the land restored to its former condition. Reason: The positioning of the modular school building on this plot of land, which is used for playing field purposes and allocated secondary open space, is not considered appropriate for permanent retention.
  2. Approved Plans – Retrospective The development hereby approved is retrospective and has been considered based on the details on site and on the plans and specifications detailed below: a) Site Location Plan (RTTC-PHS-XX-XX-DR-A-01000 Rev P01) b) Proposed Site Plan (RTTC-PHS-XX-XX-DR-A-90001 Rev P01) c) General Arrangement Modular Accommodation (34424-PML-B1-XX-DR-A-0001 Rev C6) This approval only relates to the details on the above plans and specifications, it does not relate to any other works. Reason: To ensure a satisfactory form of development and for the avoidance of doubt.
  3. REASON FOR APPROVAL The temporary modular school buildings are considered to be appropriate as it is in accordance with national and local planning policies, statements and guidance. In particular, the modular buildings are in accordance with the National Planning Policy Framework, and the policies regarding educational and community development, sustainable development, the efficient use of land, appropriate scales of development, the protection of open spaces of different characters and uses, good quality design, and transport and accessibility, whilst being a development that is not out of scale and character within the surrounding area, and is not detrimental to the local and residential amenities of the area. Issues of principle regarding the use of this site and the generation of traffic have been considered fully and are not considered, on balance, to give rise to any inappropriate or undue affects. Accordingly, the Local Planning Authority considers that there are no material planning considerations that would override the general assumption that development be approved unless other material factors determine otherwise.
