View council mapAn ash tree identified on our tree survey today at The Carrington Arms, Folville St, Melton Mowbray LE14 2TE (see location plan attached) has revealed a crack at the base of a vertical limb, overhanging the outbuildings and pub, that is propagating and is a sign of incipient failure (see photographs attached). As a matter of urgency, due to the immediate risk of serious harm, we intend remove the defective limb and to prune selective overhanging branches to eliminate that risk of serious harm. We intend to carry out the works on Wednesday morning (19 Aug) this week.
