Sample panels of boundary wall brickwork showing the proposed brick, face-bond and pointing shall be provided on site and approved by the Local Planning Authority before the relevant parts of the works are commenced. The sample panels shall be retained on site until the work is completed. The relevant works shall not be implemented other than in accordance with the approved sample panel. Where new bricks are required to be used for the reconstruction of the approved boundary wall repair, sample bricks shall be supplied to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority prior to the replacement bricks being used. Bricks retrieved from the subject boundary wall to be repaired and reinstated shall kept on a pallet to keep them raised off the ground. REASON: To ensure that the proposed development preserves the special architectural and historic interest of the listed building and its fabric.
The works to which this Listed Building Consent relates must be begun before the expiration of three years beginning with the date of this consent. REASON: To conform with the requirements of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 as amended by the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.
No new external finishes (including fenestration), including works of making good, shall be carried out other than in materials to match the existing, except where indicated otherwise on the submitted application form and/or approved drawings.
