- The applicant is advised should circumstances change and additional space within the property is used for the private hire operatrion or if visitors/drivers do come to the premises planning permission may be required e.g. If the premises were to be used as a customer-facing booking office, a dispatch centre with on-site staff, or a location where clients and vehicles constantly visit, a Change of Use planning permission (typically within the Sui Generis classification for minicab/private hire offices) would be necessary.
