Planning conditions
  1. The Council has made the Order on the following grounds: A Section 211 application, reference PA26/1293, was received by the Council for the removal of two lime trees located within the private gardens of Lawn Crescent. The application provided limited justification for the proposed removal, and no substantive arboricultural evidence was submitted to demonstrate that the trees are in decline, structurally compromised, or otherwise require removal. In the absence of supporting information, the Council considers the proposed works to be insufficiently justified. The trees are of a size, species, and visual presence that contribute positively to the character and appearance of the area, forming part of the established tree cover within Lawn Crescent. Their removal would therefore result in a loss of local amenity.
