Planning conditions
  1. The development, by reason of the siting, size and design of the proposed unit, would represent a visually intrusive and prominent form of development, adding street clutter to the public realm, and harming the character, appearance, significance and setting of the street scene as well as the sense of place and arrival to Twickenham town centre. The development is thereby contrary to Policy DP3 of the NPPF, policy D8 and policy HC1 of the London Plan and policy 28 of the Local Plan.
  2. The proposed communication hub, by reason of its size and siting would create an obstruction in the pavement prejudicing the movement of pedestrians and highway safety and would also detract from the quality of the public realm, pedestrian environment and ease of active travel. Therefore, the proposal would be contrary to Policy TR4 of the NPPF, policies D8 and T2 of the London Plan and policies 47 of the Local Plan.
  3.
