Decision & conditions

Refuse Permission/Consent
2084093_Tree_Decision_WTPO_Refused.pdf
Planning conditions
  1. Consent is refused for the following works: T7561 (London Plane) - crown reduction and reshape from approximately height 18m to 15m and spread North 9m to 6m, West 9m to 5m, South 8m to 5m, East 8m to 6m. The London Plane is a prominent and highly visible tree that makes a significant contribution to the visual amenity of the locality. Whilst limited encroachment towards the highway and adjacent property was identified, this was considered to be adequately addressed through a crown lift to 3.5m. No significant defects were identified, and insufficient arboricultural justification was provided to support the proposed crown reduction. The proposed reduction would have an adverse impact on the tree's health, longevity and amenity value and is therefore considered unjustified.
