  5. The applicant must be made aware that The Control of Pollution Act 1974 gives Redbridge Community Protection Team special powers to control noise on construction and demolition sites. Working hours can be restricted and conditions enforced on the machinery being used. In Redbridge noise control hours are: Monday to Friday before 8am and after 6pm Saturdays before 8am and after 2pm Sundays and Bank Holidays - No noisy works
