The Council raises no objection to the following AMENDED tree works to retain Ash (T2) not fell with selective branch reduction and deadwood removal as agreed in agent's email 6.10.26, following Tree Officer site visit 20.9.26 and email to agent 6.10.26:FRONT: ONE Ash (T1)(ht.21m) HEIGHT REDUCE by 5m from 21m to 16m.Reason: routine management, high target area being a road junction beneath the tree.REAR (beside Oakcroft Rd): ONE Ash (T2)(ht.15m) CROWN THIN by 10-15% by selectively reducing some branches that are excessively long and removing only dead and dysfunctional wood. Reason: health & safety and to support tree health.Informative A: huge thank you for retaining ash T2 for amenity, wildlife, shade to reduce increasingly high summer temperatures due to climate change and ash genetic diversity. Informative B: please create habitat log piles with arisings for wildlife and biodiversity.
