REASON: The roof lights, by virtue of their design and location, represent incongruous additions that are harmful to the host building, the terrace to which it belongs and the Canonbury Conservation Area. The development is contrary to the NPPF (2024), policies D3, D4 and HC1 of the London Plan (2021), policies PLAN1, DH1 and DH2 of Islington's Strategiv and Development Management Policies (2023) and the guidance contained within the Islington Urban Design Guide (2017) and the Canonbury Conservation Area Design Guidelines (2002).
