Planning conditions
  1. REASON: The proposed internally illuminated advertisement screens by reason of their size, siting and method of illumination would have a detrimental impact on the visual amenity of the locality causing harm to the significance of the setting of the Grade II* listed Finsbury Town Hall and failing to preserve the character and appearance of the Rosebery Avenue Conservation Area. The proposal is therefore contrary to policies D3, D4 and HC1 of the London Plan (2021), policies PLAN1, DH1, DH2 and DH6 of Islington’s Strategic and Development Management Policies (2023) and the guidance contained within the Urban Design Guide (2017) and the Rosebery Avenue Conservation Area Guidelines (2003).
