T1 - Robinia - Reduce crown by 1-2m beyond previous reduction points Reason for work - one of the stems has significant decay running along the whole length of the trunk from 1m above ground level. This stem has died back. The rest of the crown extends to over 20m high and spreads significantly across the road and neighbouring property, and a further reduction to the branch extremities is proposed to lessen the likelihood of branch or stem failure T2 - Holly - reduce to previous points of reduction (1m crown reduction) Reason for work - this is routine maintenance of a large tree gorowing in proximity to the building and public highway

- TREE WORKS (COMPLIANCE): All tree work shall be carried out in accordance with British Standard BS3998 - Recommendations for Tree Work. In addition: a) No fires shall be lit within [10] metres of the nearest point of the canopy of any retained tree. No equipment, machinery or structure shall be attached to or supported by a retained tree. b) No mixing of cement or use of other contaminating materials or substances shall take place within, or close enough to, a root protection area that seepage or displacement could cause them to enter a root protection area. c) No alterations or variations to the approved works or tree protection schemes shall be made without prior written consent of the local planning authority. REASON: In the interest of the protection of trees and to safeguard visual amenities.
