STANDARD ADVERTISEMENT CONDITION (COMPLIANCE): Any advertisement displayed and any site used for the display of advertisements, shall be maintained in a clean and tidy condition to the reasonable satisfaction of the Local Planning Authority.Any structure or hoarding erected or used principally for the purpose of displaying advertisements shall be maintained in a safe condition. Where an advertisement is required under these Regulations to be removed, the removal shall be carried out to the reasonable satisfaction of the Local Planning Authority. No advertisement is to be displayed without permission of the owner of the site or any other people with an interest in the site entitled to grant permission. No advertisement shall be sited or displayed so as to obscure, or hinder the ready interpretation of any road traffic sign, railway signal or aid to navigation by water or air, or so as otherwise to render hazardous the use of any highway, railway, waterway (including any coastal waters) or aerodrome (civil or military).
ADVERTISEMENT ILLUMINATION INTENSITY (COMPLIANCE): The illumination of the advertisement displays hereby approved shall not exceed a maximum steady brightness of 2,500 candelas per square metre during daylight hours and 300 candelas per square metre during hours of darkness. REASON: In the interests of visual amenity and highway safety.
ANIMATION (COMPLIANCE): The advertisement screens hereby approved shall not display any animated or video content unless it is below the VAMM maximum threshold. REASON: In the interests of visual amenity and highway safety.
SPECIAL EFFECTS (COMPLIANCE): No music, smoke or sound shall be emitted from the advertisements. REASON: In the interests of visual amenity and highway safety.

HIGHWAYS: All vehicles associated with the installation and maintenance of the adverts must only park/ stop at permitted locations and within the time periods permitted by existing on-street restrictions. The footway and carriage of Holloway Road should not be blocked during the installation works and any temporary obstructions should be kept to a minimum and should not encroach on the clear space needed to provide safe passage for pedestrians, obstruct the flow of traffic on Holloway Road or obstruct waiting bus passengers or bus services.
