Application overview
Location of trees: On steep bank at the back of the property on the south side. Sycamore T1 (22M high, 800mm dia.) - Very close to the rear of the property and previously crown reduced many times. Scaffold pollard at just above crown break at 6 metres high. The owners wish to reduce the overall dominant size and proximity to the property but wish to retain for bank stability. The tree can then be maintained as a pollard on cyclical maintenance of 5 to 7 years approximately. Sycamores G1 (15-18M high, 200-400mm dia.) - Fell to ground level and allow to re-grow as coppice for the future, with maintenance on a cyclical basis.
