Council planning record

As part of a redesign of a long neglected garden, we are requesting the removal of a Lime tree T15 which is quite mature and rides the boundary of this property and the neighbouring property. It is very close to the house and despite regular and some recent trimming, the tree is very large and too invasive for the location and is very difficult to control as it puts out a great many basal shoots and suckers. We plan to plant a number of new trees in this garden including T21 a Tillia x euchlora, T22 a Betula nigra and T24 a Carpinus betulus Frans Fontaine as well as four multi stem trees, T23, T25, T26 and T27. Note from Haringey's Tree Officer, 25.08.2023: "I objected to the removal of the Lime tree. However, after an onsite meeting with the Landscape Designer and further discussions with their client, it has been confirmed and agreed to retain the Lime tree and incorporate into the garden design."
