Council planning record

Following a visit to our property from Jason Peach - LCC Tree Officer - we are seeking permission to reduce the crown of the Oak tree in question, by 4 metres to a suitable growth point to allow more light into our property, including the removal of any deadwood throughout the crown. Mr Peach has suggested this level of work as evidenced by the attached letter dated 16/3/2022. We have indicated the tree in question on the attached plan. We are also including Google aerial shots of the trees that are adjacent to our property. These shots show the close that we live in, the general wooded area and how our neighbours house is not affected by the tree we are looking to complete work on. These shots show that our garden is completely in shade when the trees are in leaf, not just partial shade. We are also including our own photos of the tree to show its proximity to our property, the size and shape of the tree, the other trees that contribute to the overall darkness, how the tree overhangs our garden and how close some of the branches are to our house
