- The Local Planning Authority considers that the proposed scale and massing of the proposed lodges, as a consequence of the significant change to height and design, would have a significantly adverse impact upon the character and appearance of the open countryside within this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, within which they are located. As such, the proposals are considered to be contrary to the requirements of policies PC2, PC3 and EN5 of Flintshire Local Development Plan.
